Do aliens make crop circles or do people make them. People might make some of them but the ones with lots of detail are pretty questionable. The first crop circle reported was in 1967 in England. The earlier crop circles were just like one circle, but now a day they have gotten more complicated. In the 70's though they were a little complicated, but not like the ones that they find know. "The vast crop "circles" range from triangles to circles, to ellipses, to undulating lines, to highly complex interrelated forms. Like unknown glyphs from some forgotten language they express themselves to all and on the surface reveal little more than their beauty. The Center’s work with crop circles has helped us understand that they have been formed by a higher intelligence with whom we cannot yet communicate because we do not have the proper tools or codes." (3)Crop circles usually appear in barley and corn fields. They appear in other fields too, but not as often. China and South Africa are the only countries that have not ever reported a crop circle being sighted. People who were once witnesses to crop circles have said that there were little orbs above the crop before the circle appeared. Artists admire crop circles because they are beautiful pieces of art, so sometimes that is why people make their own crop circles. There are some people whose jobs are to watch and study crop circles. They are called circle watchers. To make your own crop circle all you need are two pieces of rope and a wooden board. You tie the two ropes to the ends of the board. Then all you need to do is step on the board and slide it around. Be sure to get permission from the owners of the field before you do it. You do not even need to cut the crop before you do it either. The face on Mars appeared to us 25 long years ago. It was spotted by the Viking Orbiter. It is reported to be 2 miles from top to bottom. It is located on the region of Mars called Cydonia. "The face on Mars is the image of some photographs of the Cydonia region of Mars taken in 1976 by the Viking Orbiter. The image is most likely of a natural formation but some people see a face and they are convinced that it was constructed by intelligent beings." (6) Since we have found out about the face on Mars people believe that there is life on Mars. Some researchers even say that the face of the sphinx and the face on mars resemble each other is that freaky or what. The mounds around the face resemble the pyramids that are here on earth. Researchers have found out that the face is not actually a face but it just resembles one, and it is really just mounds and crevasses. When the shadows and the angles are right you can see a face. There have also been sightings of butterflies, hotdogs, and smiley faces. These probably are not really these things, but they probably just resemble these images. There has even been a report of a heart on mars. Was it a sign of peace from the aliens, or just a crevasse? "This valentine from Mars is actually a pit formed by collapse within a straight-walled trough known in geological terms as a graben. Grabens are formed along fault lines by expansion of the bedrock terrain."(5)People do not know for sure who built Stone Hedge or how it got there. All they know is that it has been there for a long time and that it is very mysterious. People who have been to Stone Hedge say that when they were there a sort of enlightenment came over them. They do not know why it just sort of happened. Stone Hedge is located on gentle rolling plains called the downs. The three main statues are located in the middle of it. The formation of Stone Hedge actually looks like the form of a spaceship. Stone Hedge is surrounded by thousands of burials. Researchers say that it was probably used for a special reason a long time ago. They also say that they believe that it has been there as long as 7000 years. Some people even believe that aliens use to come down to earth and that they would have rituals at Stone Hedge. Whatever you choose to believe it is always fun to believe that there could be intelligent life out there and they could have something to do with these subjects.

Some people believe that aliens are like amphibians. And they believe that they come to planet earth to mate because we have oxygen and gravity. Here is a quote from a guy who said that he saw what looked like 2 spaceships mating. "In appearance it looked oval in shape like two inverted saucers, faced mouth to mouth, or like two old type washbowls placed together in the same fashion. The entire body glowed as though light were showing through from inside, though not like it would be if a light were merely underneath." (11)There is reason to believe that life did not originate on earth but somewhere else in the universe, somewhere it is simpler. Most people who say that they have seen aliens describe them as looking pretty simple. Most people though believe that aliens are more advanced than we are even though they still may appear simple. Are aliens more advanced than us? Here is what astronaut Gordon L. Cooper thinks. I believe that these extraterrestrial vehicles and their crews are visiting this planet from other planets - which obviously are a little more technically advanced than we are here on earth." (8) Did you know that 86% of the United States people believe that aliens are more intelligent and advanced than we humans are. They also believe that aliens are friendly and very kind. The reason that most people believe that they are friendly is because they want to believe that they are friendly. You wouldn't want aliens to come down to earth There are two groups of aliens that people have classified. The first group is called the Greys. They are about 4 to 6 feet tall, and weigh 70 to 90 pounds. They are the ones that usually abduct people and experiment on them. They communicate to each other by using telekinetic powers. That means they use their minds and do not make sounds like we do when we speak. There is another group of aliens that are called the Nordics. Just by hearing the name you can kind of get an idea of what they look like. They look like ordinary Scandinavian people with blonde hair and blue eyes. They look like ordinary people but are usually muscular and taller. They do not abduct people they mostly research people and like to live with them. There have been many alien encounters reported throughout history. Here is one of the most famous alien encounter stories. It happened in Roswell, New Mexico. "In July of 1947, a UFO crashed near Roswell, New Mexico. According to reports, the bodies of several aliens were found near the ship. In other reports, one or more of the aliens survived for a period of time. Mac Brazel, a local farmer, reported finding pieces of a crashed UFO on his ranch. The sheriff passed this information along to officials at Roswell Army AirField and was investigated by an intelligence officer, Maj. Jesse Marcel. A press release was issued by Roswell Army AirField about the flying saucer on July 8, 1947. The following day, the official story was retracted." (11) This story a few days after it happened got spread throughout the whole nation. Then word got out that an alien from the crash survived, but if it survived where did it go? Is it still out there living somewhere amongst us, and if so where?There have also been stories of aliens doing some pretty weird stuff. Here is a story like that. There was once this family they were the Snell family they were out on a family outing. When they came back home they realized that their house had been covered in a brown type of substance. It wasn't mud because it was not grainy. They ordered test to be done on it because they wanted to have an explanation. They never did figure out what it was but maybe it was from another life form. There have also been stories of aliens actually being nice to humans and helping them out in their time of need. Here is a part of a story like that. "So I opened the screen door to let Max out. And that little shiny ship floated up above the house and the trees and then it shot away. I've never seen Max since. Back in the kitchen Lenore came in and asked whom I was talking to, and I said nobody. She wiped her face dry, gave me a kiss and started to do some dishes. Then Papa came in with a bunch of empty beer bottles and trashed 'em. Max was right. Things did go better. Lenore stayed around more and helped out. Papa slowed down the boozing and got back to work and hardly ever hit us. He never mentions that day but now and then Lenore gets excited and whispers about how a miracle saved our family. One day a guy named Kenneth Arnold was flying in a small plane when he noticed a glowing object flying above him, he reported it and described it moving as a saucer across water. And that is where the term "flying saucer" came from. There are also other names for flying saucers some of them we do not use, as often, they are chariots, ghost fliers, foo fighters, sailing schooners, ghost rocket, and hover craft. Shapes of flying saucers have been described as cigar shaped, oval, discs, bat, home plate, ball of lights, and star shaped. About 90% of UFO's can be described as a certain shape. There are also many things that people mistake as flying saucers they are bright planets, stars, aircraft, birds, balloons, kites, clouds, meteors, and satellites. About 80% of flying saucers reported are actually something else. Most people say when they see flying saucers they have flashing lights that were all sorts of different colors. Here are some reasons why people believe in UFO's being alien spaceships. "The main reasons for believing in UFO’s are the testimony of many people, the inability to distinguish science fiction from science, the willingness to trust incompetent men telling fantastic stories, the ability to distrust all contrary sources as being part of an evil conspiracy to withhold the truth, and a desire for contact with the world above. Belief in aliens in UFO’s is akin to belief in supernatural beings." (16) Many people also believe that the government has been covering up UFO landings and actual meetings with them. The UFOlogists that study UFO's say that the government likes to withhold information from them about aliens because they are paranoid about aliens even though we do not know if they even exist. Though there is not any evidence of that at all. For a fact the CIA has gotten tired of all these alien reports and sightings and they have lost interest in them ever since the 50's. There are three main encounters that you can have with UFO's. The first encounter is when you see an unidentified flying object. The second encounter is when an alien life form or something somehow affects the earth like it. The third encounter is when is when someone has actual contact with an alien. There are lots of people who have reported seeing a UFO or unidentified flying object. Even one of our presidents has seen a flying saucer. Here is his quote. "It was the darndest thing I've ever seen. It was big, it was very bright, it changed colors and it was about the size of the moon. We watched it for ten minutes, but none of us could figure out what it was. One thing's for sure, I'll never make fun of people who say they've seen unidentified objects in the sky."(8)There have even been reports of flying saucers appearing before there have been terrible accidents. Here is a true story like that. There was this powerful earthquake that destroyed buildings and killed many people on Feb.3rd. The earthquake came right after 5 mysterious lights had appeared over the city. People believe that the lights were UFOs and that they caused the earthquake. Were the flashing lights involved with the earthquake or did they have nothing to do with it. Nobody will ever know. There have even been sightings of UFO's over volcanoes before they have erupted. There have also been sightings of UFO's before there have been big waves that have wiped out ocean shores.People have also reported that they have seen a flying saucer and they watched it for a while, then out of nowhere there would be a black helicopter chasing the flying saucer. After a while they would both just suddenly disappear.There have even been stories of alien spaceships following certain people. Once there was this lady who was joy riding with her friends when she realized that there was this weird object following them. Then after an hour or so she had dropped her friends off and was now driving home by herself. She realized that the object was still behind her so she went home as fast as she could, and it seemed to of disappeared. The next day her friend called her to tell her that there was a UFO hovering over her house that looked like the one that they thought they saw yesterday. She looked out her window then out of the blue the flying saucer disappeared. Sachin Tendulkar reads out father's poem23.50 IST 30th Oct 2007 By Agencies Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar today read out a poem written by his father late Ramesh Tendulkar, a well-known poet and critic, in Mumbai this evening and paid rich tributes to him.He recited the poem titled `Prajakt' on the occasion of `Maharashtra Dharma', a poetry recitation programme arranged by the students wing of the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.Ramesh Tendulkar was a well-known critic and a poet."The poem I am reciting has been written by my father. And it reminds me of him," he said."It was during the 1999 World Cup that I lost my father. I had to come back leaving the team midway to Mumbai. Soon after completing the final rites, I joined the team and scored a century," he reminisced.The batting maestro said he always looks skywards after scoring a fifty or a ton to thank God. "But on this occasion (in a match versus Kenya), I looked up and found my father watching me," an emotional Sachin said.Sachin said when invited to today's event, he agreed but did not realise it would be a very difficult task."I started reading various poetry books and found it very difficult to recite even a couplet in front of my wife Anjali. I sent SMS to Raj (Thackeray), requesting to relieve me of this responsibility. But details of the event had already been published, so I made up my mind to read out a poem," he said.Sachin also re-released historian Babasaheb Purandare's first book `Savitri', written in 1950, on the occasion.

Is it Marathi, Gujarati, English or some other language," the former India captain remarked."We all know that Tendulkar uses a heavy bat, but would like to be informed about the number of grains his bat has or the number of handle grips he prefers to bat with."Gavaskar sounded very emotional after having attended the funeral of former Mumbai all rounder Sharad Diwadkar, who died on Tuesday, and said the large turnout for the last rites of Diwadkar showed he was a well-loved man despite not having been a great player.Sanjay Manjrekar, senior to Tendulkar in the Mumbai and Indian team, elaborated on the distinctive qualities the latter possessed which have made him a legend in his lifetime."It's appropriate that one legend has released a book on another legend. Legend is a word which is loosely used nowadays, but there's no doubt both Gavaskar and Tendulkar are cricket legends," the former middle order technician said.Manjrekar listed some unique qualities possessed by Tendulkar."Tendulkar is a very quick learner which I found out on his debut Test and one-day series in 1989 in Pakistan. It's an amazing trait."Another great quality he shares with Gavaskar is that they both hate to get out. All batsmen hate when they are dismissed but these two hated it more than all others", the former India batsman said."Tendulkar is also a tremendous competitor not only in cricket but in other games too. I remember the time we played a Ranji game in Baroda. He defeated a reigning Gujarat state table tennis champion there after practising hard (in table tennis)," Manjrekar said."He also has the ability to keep his feet firmly planted on the ground though he's a child prodigy. We have had other great talents like Laxman Sivarmakrishnan and Maninder Singh not fulfilling their potential," Manjrekar pointed out.Going back to the dark days of match fixing charges in Indian and world cricket, Manjrekar said that Tendulkar's squeaky-clean image ensured that many followers of cricket in India did not get disillusioned."At that point of time Tendulkar was bigger than the game itself.
